Return To You Retreats
A space for mothers to be seen held, and leave a little lighter.
Part 1. Rest — “Softening Into Safety”
Day retreats intentionally designed for mamas who are longing not for more to do, but for an opportunity to simply be.
UPCOMING EVENT
Sunday morning, June 14th, 2026
9:00-12:30
Kinnikinnick Landing, Kelowna
An invitation to gently arrive into the space, into your body, and into yourself.
Through simple rituals of nourishment, quiet reflection, and lighthearted moments, mothers are welcomed just as they are. There is space to land, to breathe, and to begin noticing what has been carried—often silently—for far too long. Guided practices, journaling, and optional sharing create a container where being witnessed matters more than speaking, and where connection can unfold without pressure.
This first gathering gently lays the foundation for the journey ahead: a space rooted in care, authenticity, and permission—to soften, to be held, and to reconnect with what you need.
Our Story
How did this unfold?
Friendship runs deep for us. We are two mamas on this wild journey just trying to figure out how to wear all the hats: conscious mamas, connected partners, successful business owners, good enough humans, and everything in between. We understand, both personally and professionally, the quiet weight so many women carry. In the midst of navigating the demands of motherhood, relationships, and meaningful work, we found ourselves asking a simple, yet powerful question:
Where do mothers go to feel truly seen and supported?
What began as a late-night conversation grew into a shared vision to create a space where women can show up as they are, be witnessed in their struggles, and reconnect with themselves and each other.
Grounded in our therapeutic backgrounds and lived experience, we are passionate about fostering community that feels real, nourishing, and deeply human.

Meet Kelly
I live in the space between deep care for others and a real need for solitude. As both an educator and counsellor, my days have long been spent supporting children and families, while also navigating life as a mom to my own three children. It’s a full, complex, and often demanding rhythm—one that continues to stretch and shape me.
From infants to toddlers to teens, motherhood has been a humbling and deeply challenging journey—one that has expanded my capacity for love in ways I couldn’t have imagined. It has brought incredible depth to my life, while also acting as a mirror, reflecting parts of myself I’ve had to face, grow through, and better understand. The loss of my own mother, just as I was becoming one myself, lives deeply within me, guiding how I move through the world, show up for my family, and hold space for others.
I’ll be honest—some days I’m still not entirely sure how to be an adult! … and I can laugh about that! What I do know is that I value quiet, space, and time alone to reflect and recalibrate, which in this busy life can often be hard to come by. When I’m not working or being my kids’ chauffeur, you’ll find me walking in nature with my two dogs, seeking stillness wherever I can. I feel grateful to live in a place where I can move among the trees and sit near water, finding a sense of grounding and calm. Laughter is my saving grace—it softens the intensity of life and reminds me not to take everything so seriously. I’m drawn to camping, adventure, and trying new things, and I’m almost always up for a challenge, even when it stretches me.
After 20 years in the education system, I am stepping into a new chapter—opening my own private counselling practice and expanding the ways I support and connect with others. At my core, I’m someone who gives generously, feels deeply, needs space to return to myself, and is continually learning how to hold it all.
Meet Kim
I’m someone who is learning, in real time, how to feel all my feelings… even the ones that feel a little overrated some days. I try to meet myself with honesty and a bit of humour, allowing space for both depth and lightness to exist side by side.
I’m a counsellor by profession, but at my core I’m simply someone who cares deeply about people and the ways we find our way back to ourselves and each other. My work is shaped by my own lived experience of leaning into discomfort, staying curious, and trusting that there is meaning in slowing down enough to really listen.
Lately, I’ve been intentionally moving toward more community and connection, recognizing how much being with others truly feeds my soul. I value conversations that are real, relationships that feel mutual, and spaces where we can show up as we are. Outside of my work, I feel most like myself when I’m outdoors, camping, or gathered around good food. I love cooking, eating delicious meals, and sharing those moments with people I care about. I’m also deeply devoted to being my kids’ biggest cheerleader, while continuing to lean into and grow a 21-year relationship with care, honesty, and a willingness to keep evolving together. At the heart of it all, I’m still becoming, still learning, and still choosing connection, again and again.
