Your grief deserves to be honoured.

Being swallowed by grief, by the emotional waves, the fragmented memories, and the anticipated change.

“Grief is not a disorder, a disease, or a sign of weakness. It is an emotional, spiritual and physical necessity, the price you pay for love. The only cure for grief is to grieve.” --- Earl Grollman

There is no timeline on grief, and no right way to move through it.

Meeting you with compassion so we gently explore what your grief means to you.

Grief & Loss counselling with Anew Path Counselling can help you look at the pain of your loss while processing the complex emotions surrounding loss.

“When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure” — Unknown.

Complex grief can also be shaped by the circumstances surrounding the loss—such as a sudden or traumatic death, a complicated relationship, multiple losses, or things left unsaid.

Complex grief can feel different.

Grief is a natural response to loss, and while painful, it often shifts and changes over time as we begin to adapt to life without someone or something important to us. The loss may remain intensely present, leaving you feeling stuck in longing, guilt, anger, disbelief, numbness, or unanswered questions long after you expected things to feel different.

Complex grief can also be shaped by the circumstances surrounding the loss—such as a sudden or traumatic death, a complicated relationship, multiple losses, or things left unsaid. Counselling can offer a place to gently work through these layers, helping you integrate the loss into your life rather than feeling as though you need to simply “move on.”
